Hello there

I’ve decided to set up this blog so that I can share some political (and other) ramblings. I had it in my mind to start a political blog for a number of years and in the midst of this current pandemic now is as good a time as any.

I’m currently studying my LLB at NUI Galway. I previously studied a BA in Law and Politics & Sociology there.

My main areas of interest are politics, political theory, philosophy, economics, and religion. I generally have a democratic socialist outlook on things and my political philosophy is broadly left republican. I’m very passionate about economic democracy, worker co-operatives, and constructive alternatives to capitalism.

Anyway I hope you all enjoy and hopefully my thoughts make some bit of sense.
